FSBE II bandoleer

Got this 2005 bandoleer in today. Made by Allied Industries for the Full Spectrum Battle Equipment II kit. I have never seen them in use in pictures to be honest. But it was too cheap to let go.

As you might notice, I used a different camera, since I dropped the old one and broke it. Shit! I still need to figure out how to use it properly as you can see. But here are the pics in the meanwhile.

Baton pouch

After a long search, I have finally found an FSBE II baton pouch.

It just a silly, little pouch to, well, hold a collapsible baton. Nothing more or less than that.

The reason I wanted it, is because it is so rare. I have personally only ever seen one for sale. So when this popped up, I had to have it.

I have put it up on my MBSS, but this is only a temporary configuration, till I figure out how I really want to set it up.

FSBE II first line

Don't you just love it when you get multiple packages in on one day?
 
Today I received my FSBE II warbelt and suspenders.

 Top is civilian, bottom is FSBE II

If we go by the date on the buckle, then it's a 2005 one. Colorwise it looks more like the 2004 pouches that I have.

 the PALS webbing is identical to those on my 2004/5 issued FSBE II RRS-V

You can clearly see the color difference between my civilian 2008 first line and the 2005 FSBE II issued one.

2008 belt has slightly bigger PALS, and is slightly bigger than the FSBE II belt

 

Bottom suspenders has the typical 2004 coyote brown color, which is a shade lighter than the current color

This was the last major piece that I was looking for and I'm glad that I have found it, because they don't pop up that often.

I also received a Gerber 600 multi-tool. It is issued to deployed American Military Forces, but not per se to FR/MSOB.

Initially I received the wrong product from the seller. They sent me a Gerber Backup Guardian knife, which I did not order. I contacted them and they told me they would send me the Gerber 600 multi-tool and that I could keep the Backup Guardian. Sweet!

 I just bought it because I thought it would be a nice detail to add to the loadout. Here you can see it on my newly completed FSBE II first line.

Mk 141 Mod 0

Replica flash bang grenades. I read about these on another blog and these are a nice addition to any military loadout. They're very nice quality and will definitely become sought after, when these sell out, as stated on another blog.

I love the old 2004 coyote brown color.

And the NSN tags.

I still have a few nice FSBE II items coming in. But I won't tell you what it is yet. You will see! :)

Some 2005 pouches

I already had these pouches, but from a different date. 3 x flash bang pouches dated 2007 and 6 x .45 FB mag pouches from 2006.

These are all dated 2005 though.

Unfortunately I noticed the auction for these .45 FB pouches too late and there were only 3 left. So I bought all the remaining ones. Ideally, I would have bought 6 of them.

On a different note, I have another pouch coming in. But I'm still waiting for it to be shipped out to me. I'm hoping it will arrive soon, as it's something nice!

SR25 mag pouch

Got this at the post office today. An FSBE II issued SR25 mag pouch made by Allied Industries.

I have seen these for sale before but I never really bid on them, which I regret. I would ideally have 2 more of these for a DRM loadout. So if any of you have one for sale, just leave me a comment.

As expected, these will fit M14 mags too.

USGI wool watch cap

I got this USGI black wool watch cap, to match my black USGI fleece. The coyote brown fleece watch cap, which I have been using a few years, looked weird with the black fleece.

Too bad the winter is over haha.
